What documents are required to apply for Appliance Point Consumer Credit/Hire Purchase facility?

  • Completed Personal Consumer Credit/Hire Purchase application form
  • Salary Account bank statement (last 6 months)
  • Most recent salary slips (last 3 months)
  • 1 passport Picture
  • Customer’s ID Document
  • Guarantor’s ID Document
  • Most recent Utility Bill (not older than 3 months)
  • Positive Credit Referencing Bureau report on applicant

Does Appliance Point deliver or transport items purchased to customer's home or office address?

Door-to-door delivery of products purchased is available at a fee unless otherwise provided free by our suppliers or distributors
Customer can also pick them up from our premises
Upon delivery the company can arrange for a trained staff or appliance technician to carry out product demonstrations and Installations.

Are goods sold by Appliance Point covered by Product Warranties?

Our products are covered by warranties against manufacturer’s faults and defects. These Warranties are generally offered by our partners who are authorized dealers / distributors of the brands we retail.

Can I select different payment plans or repayment durations for various items selected or purchased?

Applicants are limited or allowed to select only one (1) payment plan or repayment duration for all items selected or purchased?

Can I pick any appliance / product from any shop and bring it for financing?

At all times customers can only select from list of appliance / products available in our appliance partner’s catalogue or as showed on our website www.appliancepointgh.com

How does the Appliance Point Consumer Credit / Hire Purchase facility work?

Customer selects preferred items/appliances from Appliance Point sales catalogue

  • when he/she encounters a Appliance Point sales executives or
  • visits our Website www.appliancepointgh.com

Customer completes facility application form

  • Hardcopy version (provided by Sales Executive)
  • Soft / Online version (on our website)

Facility is processed and approved by our Credit Officers Approval is communicated to customer Items/appliances are delivered to customer’s office or residence or preferred address

What's the lowest and maximum repayment duration or payment plan allowed?

Customers have the option to pay back items purchased over 3 to 24 months.

What is the maximum Hire Purchase / Credit Sales amount allowed per customer?

Qualifying customers can purchase items / appliances amounting up to GHS20,000.

Who qualifies to access the Appliance Point Hire Purchase / Credit Sales Facility?

Salaried customers earning a monthly net minimum salary of GHS400,
working for any Appliance Point profiled or enlisted employer / organization
meets our facility assessment profile.
